Francesco Schlitzer
Francesco graduated with an M.A. in Political Sciences and afterwards specialised both in Italy than in Europe in PR and Lobbying. From 1990 to 1993 he is a civil servant at the Ministry of Interior. Afterwards he becomes responsible for media relations of the head of the group of the liberal democrats of the Committee for Foreign Affairs at the European Parliament. Then he worked as a consultant in Public Affairs for Shandwick.
In 1998, Francesco is one of the founding partners of the first professional Italian firm specialised in Public Affairs, where he took care of the most important projects for the international clients.
From 2005 to 2007 he was head of the Public Affairs office of Gruppo Autostrade S.p.A., managing the communication and relationship with the institutions and stakeholders, both at a national and EU level.
He was member of the board of Traforo Monte Bianco S.p.A.
Francesco is VerA’s Managing Director.

Flavia Trupia
Flavia graduated in Philosophy of Language, and then received a MA in Corporate Communication. From 1993 to 2002 worked in the communication field for private and public organisations, both in Pr and Advertising agencies (Young & Rubicam, DDB).
From 2002 to 2006 Flavia was communication responsible of the Technical Unit for Internationalisation of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs (Project “Italia Internazionale”, EU Structural Funds 2000-2006).
In 2007 worked for Gep S.p.A. (high tech company), for the Ministry of International Trade, Province of Treviso, Councillor for Equality at the Province of Roma, Siracusa City Hall, Puglia Region and North West Regional Development Agency in Romania.
Flavia lectures in traditional and web writing, institutional communication ad advertising. She has published in magazines and books.
She also analysed and managed the crisis communication for a number of corporate companies.

Giada Ucci
Giada graduated in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Bologna and completed her University degree with an internship at the General Consulate of Italy in Lugano, (Switzerland), where she conducted researches on the historical and cultural roots of the two neighbouring regions Lombardy and Tissin. Furthermore she took care of cultural events collaborating with local institution and Italian associations and co-operated with AIRE sector in light of the 2006 Italian general election.
In 2008 she obtained her M.A in “Parliament and Public Policies” at the University Luiss “Guido Carli“ in Rome, with the thesis “Pay toll motorway system in Italy: theoretical and practical institutional aspects”.
In 2008 Giada arrives at VerA where she takes care of the energy, health, infrastructures and games clients.
Giada leads the Italian institutional monitoring and the related text analysis service within VerA Research Unit. Giada takes also care of the legislative, political profiles and position papers drafting.
Giada worked on the Pilot Project rewords® for Fater, concerning sustainability.

Livia Ferraro
Livia graduated in Communication Sciences, then moved to Madrid where she works for one of the leading international advertising agencies, managing and developing a number of campaigns. In 2007 Livia is part of the Top Clients Communication team of a banking group to manage the institutional events, and then becomes the project manager assistant of a major group specialised in conventions organisation, taking care of the relationship with the scientific and steering committees.
In 2008 Livia arrives at VerA where she works on energy, health and nutrition dossiers, She is also involved in the handling of the antitrust cases, in the drafting of the position papers and contributes to the definition of some special projects for VerA’s clients.
Livia leads the European institutional monitoring and the related text analysis within VerA Research Unit, besides being responsible for the Stakeholders’ mappings.
Livia speaks English and Spanish.

Stefania Polisena
Stefania started her professional career as secretary in small professional firms in Roma. In 1991 she becomes Assistant to the Sale director of 3M Italia, and then to the 3M Italia Milan headquarters within the customer service. In 1999 she becomes Office and Administration manager. Since 2009 she manages the General Secretariat and the Budget and Administration office of Vera. Stefania takes also care of the publishing activities related to the monthly edition of Primo Piano Scala c and of the organisation of the art exhibitions of VerArte.
